The SDHI hair transplant with Elithair
The SDHI hair transplant was developed exclusively by Dr Balwi for Elithair. This breakthrough in the field of hair surgery is the result of careful consideration to improve existing transplant techniques.
The combination of the sapphire blade and the DHI method is a new application that produces even more natural results than any other type of hair transplant. A perfect end result is therefore practically guaranteed!
How does the SDHI method work?
SDHI hair transplantation is a possible option depending on your personal hair situation. To find out whether you are suitable, our specialists carry out a preliminary examination. During the preliminary examination, it will be clarified in a personal discussion whether you suffer from any diseases, allergies or intolerances.
The SDHI technique is performed through the following steps:
Removal of individual hair grafts
Using a tool with a micromotor, individual hair follicles are extracted from the donor area using the FUE technique.
Opening the channels
The channels of the first three rows of the hairline are opened with the Sapphire method. The grafts are then inserted.
Insertion of the hair grafts
All other bald areas of the head are then treated with the DHI technique.

Who can benefit from an SDHI hair transplant?
As experts in professional hair treatments, we attach great importance to always using the right method for each hair type. Below are the different types of baldness for which our SDHI method is best suited.
Hereditary Hair Loss
SDHI hair transplantation without shaving the head – is it possible?
Many patients ask whether the SDHI technique can be applied without shaving. As with the “normal” DHI method, this is only possible if smaller areas or only a receding hairline are to be filled.
If the entire head area is to be treated, SDHI without shaving the head is unfortunately not possible.
However, there is no disadvantage, as the hair grows back naturally after a short period of time, both in the donor and the recipient area.
A revolutionary idea for hair transplant surgery
With the development of SDHI hair transplantation, Elithair has set a new standard in the field of hair transplantation and continues to consolidate its position as market leader.
Our specialist, Dr Balwi, and his team always focus on patient satisfaction and aim to help those affected by hair loss regain a full head of hair and a renewed self confidence.
The combination of the Sapphire and DHI method is a revolutionary achievement that provides unparalleled final results.
